My editor, Cheryl Lim, kept the book true to my writing and was a delight to work with.My cover designer, Jessica Scott at uniquelytailored, really took her time to understand not only me, but the characters before we started designing Aiden and Emilia’s covers. I had a wonderful support team behind me. I’ve loved the creative process of it and getting to be in the middle of the design and editing of the books. WattPad is their home and I didn’t want to do that to the readers so I decided to self publish, and leave the rough drafts on the platform. So I had been contacted by a couple of publishers but they all wanted Aiden removed from WattPad, so I declined. How did u feel when u processed the information that “Aiden” was gonna get published? As for now, with it being summer, I imagine them sitting somewhere on a beach, surrounded by family.ģ. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but in the published epilogue of Emilia it travels through decades of their lives together. An us against the world, if you will.Ģ.Ten years from now, where do u see the characters? Anna Todd’s After Series as well as Stephenie Meyer’s twilight Saga inspired me the most!Īt the end of the day, I wanted to create a book where the characters never strayed from each other. Not cliche at all! I was inspired by many authors and stories, and I’ve always had ideas in my head but I never knew what to do with them before WattPad.
